Some useful improvements are added in this release:

Undo/Redo menu command has been added. It really helps the experimentation process to try something.. back it out then load it again.

For all the things with motion – vary commands, transitions over sets of images – Save now supports length. Do you want a short clip saved or the entire show? A single frame is saved on zero seconds length. The length box will default to an estimated running time.. It is just an estimate given the depth of possible combinations in the motion. I am tending to save videos at 1 min or less. 10 minutes is just too long !

The Sequence Filter on the iPad now supports multiple selection of saved stacks from the library. You can add a whole group at once with this feature.

Ken Burn Style dissolve filter has been added to the Transition category. I still feel it needs a little more tuning

Something big for the iPhone version – a bigger image area. It’s all about the picture.. now it’s bigger.

Album prefix is now added your album for saving into the Photo Library. It defaults to ‘PhotoArt’. You can change it in the User Settings for the app- make it blank if you prefer. I was losing my art albums in Photo Library.. This groups in the Photo Library without any extra work.

What’s next ? I’d like to really improve the process of editing the group of selected images. The Apple Photo Picker is fine for the first cut but going back to it for changing one image or rearranging the order is .. best I can say is ‘difficult’. I have in mind a list view of the selected input images that you can drag for order changes or delete. Still use the Apple Photo Picker to add a new image to the set however. Version 3.8 will be coming
